Ara and I are in Phoenix for the weekend. We arrived Thursday night to 93 degree heat. Friday we walked around the area near our hotel which is right next to the University of Phoenix stadium (host the the Super Bowl last year) and right by the Jobing arena where the Coyotes play. Then we headed out to see Courtney and Aaron Kellum and their new baby Elayna Ruby. She is beautiful and Courtney and Aaron look fantastic. There home is so cute. It was fun to catch up with them. Courtney, Ara and I then went out to a wonderful dinner before Ara and I returned to the hotel. No we are getting ready to spend the afternoon at the University of Phoenix stadium at the Kenny Chesney Poets and Pirates concert with Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar, Gary Allen and Leann Rimes. We hear Leann is sick however so she probably won’t play today. It’s a beautiful day so it should be lots of fun! Below is a photo of Aaron with Elayna, sorry I don’t have any of Courtney with her or with us. I will do better today at the show. And some photos of the stadium. The grass is in the back is what the Cardinals play on, they remove it so it can grow and then put it inside the stadium for them to play on. It’s on a big track, it’s pretty neat though it doesn’t look like much. And the buses in front of it are some of the tour buses for the various artists performing. Hope all is well.

Update, we have spent the morning at the pool having a great time and now we are heading over to the stadium to meet fellow fans and enjoy the festivities and then the great music.  Bring on the Pirates!!!  Happy Birthday to Me!  haha!
