Happy Easter!
Well it’s a beautifully sunny day in Utah today and we have spent Easter having a relaxing day at home. I am finally starting to feel better after 13 days of being sick. I hope I can kick this thing soon. Ben and I took the dogs swimming today, for the first time of the spring. The run-off hasn’t really started yet but there was enough water in the reservoir for the dogs to be able to swim and they had a great time. Don’t worry it is a dog park and they are allowed to swim in the reservoir. I recently upgraded my telephoto lens (an early birthday present) so I took a bunch of photos of the dogs with it. I think they turned out pretty well and am excited to do some more shooting with this lens. We are going to try to go to the Real Salt Lake scrimmage tomorrow night so I can try to take some soccer action shots. If I get to go and shoot some photos I will be sure to post them. Spring break is officially over which is a bummer but this next week Highland High has spring break so I don’t have to go there this week which will hopefully give me more time to catch up. Then I am off to Colorado on Thursday for some skiing and work meetings. Hope all is well and hope you like the photos of our “kids” Bridger (black) and Jackson (yellow).

Hi Jess,
Your shots are excellent! The dogs look like they’re having a great time. The lens must be great to work with–very satisfying to get such great photos. I hope you’ll feel better soon. If you could just stop for a couple of days and recover……Love, Mom…..I think the shots are great, too. You seem to have the lens under control already! I can’t believe the clarity of the shots, the depth of field seems to be the whole dog. It should be great on the slopes as well. Hope you feel better. Love Dad
