Slalom Day 2
So we had the last race of this series today. Allison Jones was 2nd, Brad Washburn was 8th, Monte Meier was 9th and Chris Devlin-Young was 15th. It was a super sunny day and even warm. It was a great way to finish up the European World Cups. I didn’t end up setting a training course because I wimped out but I hope to learn how to do it soon. We are staying here in Queyras until Sunday morning so tomorrow we will have staff meetings, watch the Hahnenkamm DH and perhaps go take photos before packing up and loading the cargo van. We are leaving at 800 am on Sunday morning to drive to Munich. I think we will be driving back through Milan and then up through Lichtenstein, a tiny part of Austria and then to Germany. Hopefully we will be there in time to explore Munich in the daylight but from what I have heard it is even more fun at night. Plus we are meeting up with the Canadian staff members Sunday night so that should make for a fun adventure. I am posting some photos from today. One of Monte Meier, one of Gerd Schoenfelder and another of me with Ian Garner, one of our coaches.
